Hi there:
As a gift to his family in 2006, Grandpa/Daddy/Uncle/Husband Bill recorded himself reading the Book of Mormon. The recording is available through this website. You can hear his personal introduction for the project.
Listen:Listen to any book from the Book of Mormon as it plays from the Internet (some call this "streaming"). This will open in your music player, such as iTunes or WinAmp. Skip between chapters like tracks on a CD to get to the part you want.
Note: Be sure to turn off shuffle mode so you can skip between chapters properly.
Download:
If you want to listen to these recordings while you are away from the Internet, then you can download them as MP3s to your computer. This would let you load the recordings on your iPod for example. Click for details.
You have two ways of downloading. You can either browse into a book and download just individual chapters that you desire or you can download all the chapters in a given book (e.g. get all chapters of Mosiah).
If you want to download individual chapters, then once you find the chapter you want, use the context-menu (right-click on Windows or long-click on Mac) and save the MP3 link to your local machine.
If you download the entire book, you will receive a file in the .tar format. Macintosh OSX users should be able to open this file directly and extract its contents. Windows users should be able to open this file in WinZip and extract its contents. You should test that this works for you on a small book before downloading every book.
Click to hide the download section.
